Privacy Policy

League Night is operated by Prospective Vision LLC ("League Night", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the League Night apps and websites (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

  • Account information. Your display name and email address, and (optionally) a phone number and profile picture you add. League operators may create a player record for you with this information so you can be added to a team.
  • Sign-in information. We use a third-party identity provider (Auth0) to manage logins. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your basic profile with us — your name, email address, and profile picture — solely so we can create and authenticate your account. We do not receive your Google password and we do not access your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or other Google data.
  • League and gameplay data. The information you enter to run or play in a league: teams, rosters, skill levels, schedules, availability, match results, scores, and any rewards or payouts.
  • Usage and device data. Like most online services, we automatically receive technical information such as your browser type, device, and pages viewed. We use Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used so we can improve it, and an error-monitoring service to capture diagnostic information when something goes wrong. This helps us keep the Service secure and reliable.
  • Advertising. Some public pages of the League Night website and the League Night Marketplace display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure those ads, including ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. We do not share your account details, league data, or messages with advertisers, and we do not place ads on private pages — your dashboard, your profile, admin pages, or buyer-and-seller messages and offers.
  • Cookies and local storage. We store a login session in your browser so you stay signed in, and Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to measure usage. The advertising described above involves third-party cookies set by Google and its partners. We do not enable Google Analytics advertising features or ad personalization on our analytics data.

You can control how Google personalizes the ads you see at Google My Ad Center, and opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

How we use information

  • To provide and operate the Service — authenticate you, run leagues, and show standings, schedules, and rosters.
  • To send Service-related messages, such as match requests and reminders, account and welcome emails, and notifications you've enabled.
  • To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the Service and to diagnose problems.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not give advertisers your account details, league data, or messages; ads on our public pages are served by Google as described above.

Text messages (SMS)

If you add a mobile number to your profile or enter it during sign-in or phone verification (and confirm the consent checkbox shown next to the field), we may send you text messages — one-time passcodes for account security and account/service notifications you've enabled. We do not send marketing texts. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help, or change your number from your profile at any time. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or text-message opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing. Signing in with Google

When you sign in with Google, our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We request only your basic profile (name, email, and picture) to authenticate you, and we use that information only to provide the Service.

How we share information

  • With your league. League Night is a shared platform. Information such as your name, team roster, schedule, and match results is visible to the operators, captains, and players in the leagues you belong to. Public matches and standings you or your operator choose to publish may be viewable by anyone.
  • With service providers. We use trusted vendors to run the Service — identity and login (Auth0), hosting and content delivery (Netlify), our database and API, error monitoring, analytics (Google Analytics), advertising (Google AdSense), and email delivery. They process information only to provide services to us and are bound to protect it.
  • For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the Service.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain records as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes). You can ask us to delete your account and personal information as described below; note that league records you contributed to (for example, historical match results) may be retained in de-identified or aggregated form.

Your choices and rights

  • You can review and update your name, contact details, and picture from your profile.
  • You can opt out of non-essential emails using the link in those messages or by contacting us.
  • You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@league-night.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.

Security

We protect information in transit with industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) and restrict access to authorized personnel and systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Effective" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
